Hydroswarm’s Drones Could Solve Our Ignorance Of The Oceans

Hundreds of drones could be the answer to whats under the waves.

In a concept pitched by MIT student Sampriti Bhattacharyya, a form of “Hydroswarm” Drones could be used to to explore the remaining 95% of the Ocean we do not yet understand.

The new platform works with a autonomous drones which lives underwater, dubbed Eve, which can work with multiple other Eve drones to collect data. Eve could operate as a consumer device, a little like an AirDog drone which follows a diver around, which can also upload data to the cloud once it’s on the surface.
