In an unexpected move but not all that bad of an idea 3DR has taken their Solo to the sky and filmed their own Sci-Fi series.

The series is called Life After Gravity and they look interesting. 3DR says they will continue with these quoting “We’re launching a full-on sci-fi series.”

I quite like the effect the drone captures and it’s a great marketing strategy for 3DR. 3DR has described Life After Gravity as “Life After Gravity is a thriller on a global scale — intergalactic, really — about the blessings and poisons of extraordinary power, the many conflicts of its pursuit, and the birth of a new era for our civilization when we’re suddenly relieved of the trappings of gravity.”

On 3DR’s blog they mention that the entire concept of Solo was to give people a tool they can use to tell stories that is both easy to use and powerful. This new series from them puts these fundamentals into practice and shows people what can be done.
